Group A = Carbon Dating - Tours Center for Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (CAMS),National Ignition Facility (NIF). Badge provided before workshop at ETEC.

Group B = Biophotonics -Tours Medical technology laboratory, National Ignition Facility (NIF) ). Badge provided before workshop at ETEC.

Group C = Optics -Tour laser laboratory, National Ignition Facility (NIF). Badge providedbefore workshop at ETEC.

Group D = New Teacher Workshop, No tours scheduled. Badge is not required.

Group E = National Ignition Facility (NIF) tour only. Must pick up badge at Westgate Badge Office prior to tour. See specific directions below. Be sure to leave enough time to obtain your badge and move to the ETEC before the 3:15 start of the tour.

 

DIRECTIONS

Exit Highway 580 on Greenville Road South to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Turn right at Eastgate Drive, at the Laboratory's east entrance.
Turn right into the Department of Applied Science parking lot, before the guard gate.
Look for ETEC sign.
Overflow parking at the LLNL Discovery Center across the road.

Tour Only Directions

Exit Highway 580 at the Vasco Road exit. Keep to the right at the fork in the exit ramp.
     Travel SOUTH on Vasco Road about 1.5 miles.
     Turn left at Westgate Drive, the fourth traffic light on Vasco Road.
     Take the first right to the Laboratory's Westgate Badge Office to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Once you get your badge, get back in your car and drive around to the ETEC entrance.
    Turn right out of the Westgate area onto Vasco Road.
    Turn right onto Patterson Pass Road.
    Turn right onto Greenville Road.
    Turn right at Eastgate Drive, at the Laboratory's east entrance.
    Turn right into the Department of Applied Science parking lot, before the guard gate.
    Look for ETEC sign.
    Overflow parking at the LLNL Discovery Center across the road.
