2023 AAPT High School Physics Camp

July 16 in Rocklin, close to AAPT National meeting Whether you are attending the AAPT National meeting in Sacramento or not, you are invited to attend the High School Teacher Camp—back in-person for the first time since 2018! The camp will be on Sunday, July 16 at Rocklin High School. The registration fee is $25, which includes breakfast and lunch. The camp is open to anyone who will be teaching at least one section of 9-12 physics in the 2023-2024 school year. Our spring meeting will be at Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose on April 22. We are happy to announce that we’ll have Zeke Kossover from the Exploratorium and Beth Callaghan from the Monterey Bay Aquarium as our invited speakers. In addition we’ll have share & tell, a poster session, opportunities for networking and more. Pre-registration has closed. Walk-ups can pay at the door. We’ll be at Merritt College in Oakland for our next meeting, Saturday November 5. Doors will open at 8 and we’ll have our official start around 9. The highlights of the day will include an invited talk by Paul Bergeron from Pasadena City College titled “Transforming Classrooms into Science Gateways through 3 Dimensional Learning.” Online registration is closed, walk-ups can pay at the door.
