Join us for a day (or more) of professional development and socializing.

Keynote speakers
Our first keynote speaker will be Astronaut General, Dr. Yvonne Cagle. Dr. Cagle has a life-long dedication in service to global health and enabling the frontiers of human spaceflight.
After lunch, Mary Roach will dazzle us with her insights of her writing in popular science and humor. Mary’s most recent book, Replaceable You: Adventures in Human Anatomy, explores the remarkable advances and difficult questions prompted by the human body’s failings.

Other activities
- Poster session: Bring your poster and/or view others.
- Break out groups: Build your network, share, and learn with others in your area of interest. Groups usually include 4 year college, 2 year college, AP Physics, high school physics, ‘physics first,’ and other topics (groups form based on the interest of those attending).
- Community meeting. A short meeting with information about our Nor Cal/Nevada section and ways people can volunteer.
