We’ll be at Merritt College in Oakland for our next meeting, Saturday November 5. Doors will open at 8 and we’ll have our official start around 9. The highlights of the day will include an invited talk by Paul Bergeron from Pasadena City College titled “Transforming Classrooms into Science Gateways through 3 Dimensional Learning.” Online registration is closed, walk-ups can pay at the door.

On the night of Friday the 22nd we’ll meet for an optional social event from 6-9, and on Saturday the 23rd we’ll have a full meeting. A big thank you to PASCO for also covering food costs for this meeting.

We will have a social event on the night of Friday the 5th and a full day on Saturday the 6th. Our invited speakers will be author Mary Roach and Dave Rakestraw from LLNL.

Given the context of school closures and conference cancellations, we have decided to cancel our upcoming meeting.
We are extending everyone’s membership status by six months. We will reach out to PASCO, hopefully they will be willing to host again in the near future.
